Our absolute favorite part of Fall is the food. We spend all year dreaming about pumpkin, cinnamon, freshly picked apples, and the most warm, cozy, flavorful soups we can find.
We've been on a Fall flavor binge ever since Starbucks gave the OK with the (exceptionally early) annual release of their Pumpkin Spice Latte. So, we felt it only made sense to mix things up a bit this week and share some recipes that we are itching to try. After all, what good is a beautiful home if you aren't using it to enjoy tasty treats with the people you love?

Everyone always says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we think that it is VERY important to start your day out by trying these White Chocolate Pumpkin Scones. Typically you think of regular chocolate with pumpkin but really the subtle saltiness of white chocolate sounds like a fascinating alternative, especially when paired with that espresso glaze. Yes please!

This sounds like the most perfect autumn twist on a classic appetizer that we have ever heard of. It's also unbelievably simple - you just season and roast your pumpkin seeds and then toss them in a food processor with a few other ingredients and BOOM! you have a healthy, flavorful, and autumnal appetizer.

It wouldn't be a Fall recipe roundup with at least one soup. We love a good pureed soup in the Fall. It's like a warm, cozy hug in a bowl. This soup deviates a bit from your standard butternut squash and instead uses carrots & sweet potatoes as the base. A bit of honey and an apple give it some sweetness while a dash of curry powder kicks it up a notch and really brings all of the flavors together.

Another food that is perfect for chilly Fall evenings is a toasty, cheesy, hearty baked pasta dish. With pumpkin, sage, and nutmeg in these stuffed shells we can only imagine the glorious smells that will fill your home while this is baking. And, it makes 8 servings so you know what that means? Leftovers!!!

You may have noticed that we've included a number of recipes from Halfbaked Harvest in this list. We recently stumbled upon food blogger, Tieghan Gerard, and absolutely fell in love. Her recipes are gorgeous, delicious, unique, and fairly easy to prepare.
Take for instance, these caramel apples. These aren't just any old caramel apples. Tieghan takes the fall dessert staple and kicks it up to eleven with the addition of chocolate drizzle and bourbon cinnamon roasted pecans. Does that not sound like absolute perfection on a stick?!?
